TERMS OF USE AND CONDITIONS OF SERVICES (halkidiki.taxi)

1. Introduction & Company Identity

The website halkidiki.taxi belongs to: Tsioupras Georgios, with registered office at: Fleming 42, Kalamaria, 55133, Thessaloniki, Greece, VAT number: 059549804 and G.N.T.O. License: 0933Ε81000222001.

The company operates legally, providing special rental services of private cars with driver, in accordance with the current Greek legislation.

2. Reservation Process & Contract

Electronic Order: Completing the reservation form constitutes a proposal to conclude a transport contract. The contract is considered complete only upon sending a Booking Confirmation from our company. (Finalize with payment)
Accuracy of Information: The user bears sole responsibility for the accuracy of the information (pick-up point, time, flight number, contact phone number). In case of incorrect information, the company is not responsible for the non-performance of the service.

3. Payment Methods & Transaction Security

The company provides the following payment methods, in compliance with tax provisions:

Credit/Debit Card: Processing is carried out through a secure banking institution environment with encryption. Card details are not stored on our servers.
IRIS System: Immediate payment via mobile banking, in accordance with DIAS standards.
Bank Deposit: The reservation is finalized only after the deposit receipt is sent.
Cash to the Driver: Payment is made at the end of the trip. The driver is required to issue a legal document (retail receipt or invoice).

4. Cancellation & Refund Policy

Based on consumer protection legislation and the specifics of transportation:

Free Cancellation: Allowed up to 24 hours before the scheduled pickup time.
Late Cancellation: For cancellations less than 24 hours, the company reserves the right to charge a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the value of the trip.
No-Show: If the customer does not show up at the pickup point within 15 – 30 minutes from the scheduled PORT BUS time (for AIRPORT pickups 45 minutes) the reservation is canceled and the amount is not refunded.

5. Luggage & Special Equipment

Luggage Limits: Each vehicle has a specific capacity. For Extra Large (XL) size luggage or special equipment (skis, bicycles), the customer must inform at the time of booking.
Child Seats: According to the K.O.K., the use of child seats is mandatory. They are provided upon request in the booking form without (or with) additional charge.

6. Liability & Force Majeure

halkidiki.taxi is not responsible for delays due to objective events beyond its control (severe weather phenomena, emergency traffic accidents, general strikes, blockades, long flight delays). Upon contact, we can when we are available and can serve, money is not refunded.
In case of mechanical damage to the vehicle, the company is obliged to arrange for the immediate replacement of the vehicle or the refund of the fare to the customer.

7. Personal Data Protection (GDPR)

Your data is collected exclusively for the provision of the transport service. Your data (name, telephone, email) are retained for the period specified by tax legislation and are not transferred to third parties for advertising purposes without your express consent.

8. Applicable Law & Jurisdiction

For any dispute arising from the use of the website or the provision of the services, the courts of Thessaloniki are competent and Greek Law is applicable.

9. Special Airport Pickup Policy (Flight Delay Policy)

· Flight Tracking: halkidiki.taxi monitors the status of your flight in real time through the official airport systems.

· Free Waiting Time: A free waiting time of 45 minutes is provided from the actual landing time of the flight (for baggage claim and passport control).

· Additional Waiting: After 45 minutes, the company reserves the right to terminate the contract – reservation “No-Show”. . The driver will try to contact you on the phone number you provided.

· No Contact: If 45 minutes have passed since landing and the customer has not shown up or responded to calls/messages, the reservation is considered a “No-Show”. In this case, the fare is not refunded (if prepaid by card/IRIS) or the company reserves the right to claim the amount.

 

Halkidiki. taxi, hereinafter referred to as “the Company”, fully complying with the applicable legislation on the protection of personal data – as in force -, has designed and follows policies, practices and procedures aimed at the use of personal data provided to it in any lawful manner and by any lawful means, to protect their confidentiality and privacy and to ensure the unhindered exercise of the legitimate rights of the users their subjects.

This information is mainly collected mainly online (through the Company’s website, communication forms, etc. ) or by telephone contact with us.
